I recently had to move.  I had to leave gardens, trees, shrubs I loved for almost 14 years.  The sweet new place, is full of promise, but 8 large oak trees were recently cut down by the power company, leaving large stumps around the home.  I feel the same raw feeling, but know that we can save our energy, sprout from our roots, and begin again together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morning meaderings, the crunch of oak leaves, popping acorns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This day is a beginning among endings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An oak stump, cut<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A perfect place to nest my gatherings<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An ending and an opening<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, I begin anew<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among oak and moss<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Morning rays dripping gold<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Endings and beginnings.
